"Meetings with Advisory Bodies" is the budget line voted by the World Heritage Committee under the World Heritage Fund for the period 2022-2023 to allow for coordination meetings between the UNESCO Secretariat of the World Heritage Convention and the Advisory Bodies to the World Heritage Committee (ICCROM, ICOMOS and IUCN). These meetings are crucial to the implementation of the World Heritage Convention as they allow those involved to work in synergy and deliver the best advice and documents in their respective fields of competence. These meetings are also the occasion to plan the work ahead, to anticipate issues and share the workload in the most effective manner.
