In accordance with Resolution 7.GA 8 of the General Assembly of States Parties to the 2003 Convention, which approved the creation of three fixed term posts, this activity aims at enhancing the human resources of the Secretariat to support States Parties in making better use of the resources of the Intangible Cultural Heritage Fund and thus operationalize the International Assistance mechanism.
