In line with the priorities identified by the governing bodies of the 2003 Convention, the project aims at enhancing capacities for the safeguarding of intangible cultural heritage in Dominica, a SIDS in the Caribbean. The project will pay due attention to the adequacy of institutional environments, frameworks for inventorying and the strengthening of national expertise in the field of intangible cultural heritage.
