The aim of this project is to strengthen human and institutional capacities for safeguarding intangible cultural heritage in the framework of the 2003 Convention for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage and its global capacity-building programme in Kenya. It is a voluntary contribution from the Netherlands to Funding Priority 1 under the 2003 Convention as endorsed by the Intergovernmental Committee (Decision 16.COM 12).
