International Assistance from the Intangible Cultural Heritage Fund is provided to States Parties to supplement their national efforts for the safeguarding of the intangible cultural heritage. It is granted by the Committee or its Bureau, which evaluate and approve requests for any purpose and for any form of international assistance mentioned in Articles 20, 21 and 22 of the Convention including emergency assistance.
