Project ID 2210111021
We are a long way from ensuring that everyone has equal rights to access and benefit from education and the COVID pandemic has deepened pre-existing inequalities. Inclusive educational policies and programmes should be prioritized if we are to fulfill our commitment by 2030. Because the challenges are steep, UNESCO will strengthen its work with its Member States and partners to minimize barriers to learning and to ensure that all learners experience a genuine inclusive environment. It will support its Member States to review their educational policy through an inclusive lens and to build learning environments that combat discriminatory attitudes (including those based on gender, languages and disability) and respond to the diverse characteristics of learners.
