Project ID 2210113041

Conflicts, economic crises, civil unrest and COVID-19 have been putting the education sector in the Arab region under stress for several years. As a result, the right to education of children and young people is put at risk due to damages to infrastructures and due to the challenges to the regular functioning of education systems at large. UNESCO will support learners and teachers in crisis-affected countries through: (1) Better data for stronger impact; (2) System-level support in order to protect the right to education for all; (3) Enhancement of the quality of education to ensure progress in SDG4 targets even in the most difficult contexts.
