Project ID 2210122041
In a context where violence against children, girls and women is frequently perpetrated and justified, this project addresses school-related gender-based violence (SRGBV) in Guinea-Bissau in order to improve elementary school completion and reduce gender disparities in education. SRGBV, which results in inability to concentrate, falling grades, requires a response at several levels, among which policies, safe environments, teaching and learning, reporting mechanisms, links with services and communities, and monitoring and evaluation. The project aims at identifying key actions and a roadmap to improve the response to SRGBV in the country through a participatory process involving multiple stakeholders.
