Project ID 2210125011

The Santiago office will promote safe and transformative learning environments through activities with Member States and FOs focused on a review of how gender norms, human mobility and COVID impacts affect boys' disengagement from education in the region. On the basis of this review, a regional network of organizations, experts and youth activists will be convened to develop collaborative strategies to strengthen the role of the education sector in the prevention of boys' disengagement. Other activities will focus on non-sexist education and the promotion of teaching strategies to support development of critical thinking and positive action around harmful gender norms among students.
