ASPnet links over 12,000 educational institutions in more than 180 countries around a common goal: to empower learners to lead healthy lives, promote sustainable development and engage with the world as creative and responsible global citizens. The network makes an important contribution to reaching SDG 4.7 and 4.c. Through pilot projects, members experiment innovative approaches to improve the quality of education and share good practices for scale with the network and wider education community, including policy makers. To effectively support its members to drive educational innovation and transformation, the ASPnet needs to provide substantive impulses, renew its communication and collaboration tools and provide quality assurance in order to play its role effectively.
