This programme aims to equip learners in Asia and the Pacific with relevant skills through (1) Promoting learner-centred TVET policies, plans and pathways, (2) Increasing the number of countries in the region adhering to the Tokyo Convention and Global Convention on the recognition of qualifications concerning higher education, and (3) Developing the capacity of government officials in flexible learning strategies and equitable education for marginalized children, youth and adults through online courses and learning management systems.
