Project ID 2210151022

UNESCO will support countries and TTIs to deliver teacher education in key areas, including digital skills and pedagogical competencies for online, remote and hybrid education, gender sensitive and innovative pedagogies including socio-emotional learning, ESD and GCED. This will be done by supporting Member States to develop and update competency standards and frameworks, and by embedding educational resources produced by UNESCO and by partners of the Global Education Coalition in the educational programmes of teacher training institutions. The Global Teacher Campus will broker and adapt these resources based on countries' needs and demands. Africa and SIDS will be prioritized and UNESCO's Institutes and Category II Centers will play a key role to train and support teachers.
