Providing technical support to ensure equitable and resilient education systems is a priority more than ever. The programme aims to tackle issues of equity within mainstream education (formal and non-formal) with a specific focus on technical and vocational education and training, while also providing support to education systems in their response to the disruption created by the COVID19 pandemic. In some countries, activities build up on initial scoping studies or situational analysis (Qatar and Kuwait), while in other countries (Bahrain, for example) initial assessments and situational analyses are yet to be conducted and will represent the bulk of activities for the next biennium.
