UNESCO Tashkent Office will support the Government of Uzbekistan in strengthening the resilience and effectiveness of education systems so to improve quality and expand access to early childhood education and care, primary, secondary and tertiary education including by the means of technologies. This will be achieved through support to review and scale up efforts for better alignment of and transformation in policies and planning on teachers and ECCE, monitoring and evaluation as well as curriculum and pedagogy. Gender-transformative education policies will be in primary focus within this programme. This activity will also serve for fund raising campaigns and for the preparation towards convening the World Conference on ECCE, which is planned to take place in Uzbekistan in Autumn of 2022.
