Project ID 2210172051

Building on the recommendation of PACE in 2018, regarding the establishment of a joint monitoring and reporting mechanism of Agenda 2030 and Agenda 2063, UIS and the regional offices have offered two workshops in 2018 and 2019, and member states committed to put in place institutional mechanism to report their regularly their progress. Namibia established SDG4 focal persons in all the 14 regions of Namibia to support the reporting process towards SDG4 indicators. Unfortunately, the Covid-19 pandemic has played against this momentum so far. There is therefore need for capacity building of those focal persons to ensure that their subsequent support to the regions yields the desired results through regular and accurate reporting
