Building on the achievements and lessons learned during 40C5, Beirut Office will consolidate its office-wide efforts with HQ and FOs in the region to strengthen the leadership role in support of Member States' continued progress towards the Education 2030 progress. During the 41C5 biennium, UNESCO Beirut office will aspire to reflect the newly established Global Education Coordination Mechanism (GCM) in the Arab region that is expected to accelerate SDG 4 efforts toward the year 2030, supported by relevant evidence and policies. Thus, the C5 workplan will center around supporting this effort through continued capacity development, analysis, and policy and technical dialogue.
