Project ID 2210192011

Over the last 2 years (2020-2021, education systems in Eastern Africa, as in much of Africa, have been disrupted by the Covid-19 pandemic, affecting teaching and learning and the provision of education to millions of children. Going forward, it is reasonable to expect many disruptions - nature- or human-induced. The extent to which future disruptions will impact on education is not very clear at the moment. It is important therefore to provide to governments to be aware of the potential consequences of future through regional fora based on results of research; preparation and dissemination of policy briefs for ministers and senior government officials.
