Central Asia (CA) region is vulnerable to various risks from geohazards. This activity will focus primarily on enhancing resilience of populations in Central Asia (CA) from geohazards. It will contribute to advancing initiatives by scientific community, engineers and policy makers, notably on earthquake and landslide/mudflow risk reduction. Cooperative networks will be further strengthened to serve as platforms for knowledge and experience sharing among various stakeholders that create resilience from geohazards at national/regional levels. Youth network on Disaster and Climate Resilience in Central Asia will be further supported. This activity will be carried out in conjunction with the AF funded GLOFCA project.
