Project ID 2210214101

UNESCO's biosphere reserves offer good demonstration sites for solutions to the challenges faced by natural resources. This activity strengthens capacities of the Tehran Cluster Countries in the sustainable management of natural resources, ecosystem and biodiversity conservation based on sound scientific evidence in UNESCO designated sites. It will contribute to capacity development for skills in applying green economy approaches in selected biosphere reserves and assisting countries in the nomination processes for new biosphere reserves and in the Periodic Review process of some Biosphere Reserves.
