Addressing climate change and other environment-related hazards will require that Caribbean SIDS take urgent action to adapt and mitigate the severity of their impacts. The Activity therefore aims to: (i) strengthening the resilience and preparedness of the people, economy, infrastructure and ecosystems to disaster risks ; (ii) driving the Caribbean SIDS natural disaster strategies and community-based approaches to become an integral part of their comprehensive sustainable development policies.
