Project ID 2210222041

Namibia, like other countries in Southern African, is increasingly facing numerous water-related challenges, among them floods and droughts, that are threatening economic growth/development and jeopardising livelihoods. Medium to long-term water security policies and strategies for resilience building, capacity development and disaster risk preparedness are key to combating this recurrent crisis in Southern Africa. SADC-WIN focuses on addressing the impacts of perennial extreme weather using holistic innovative water chain approaches in parallel to the humanitarian assistance to vulnerable communities.
