This activity aims at strengthening intergovernmental cooperation via the IHP network in the region, with particular emphasis on the UNESCO Water Family. It will support the strengthening of IHP National Committees, the coordination of the UNESCO water family, improved communications, contribution to WWAP, ensure contributions to the IHP Intergovernmental Council and other processes (2030 agenda, SDGs, IHP WINS, CILAC, 2022 World Water Forum and World Water Day). It will also contribute to the regional implementation of Water Education and the 4th Industrial Revolution there of IHP-IX. Key outputs include regional resolutions on water cooperation, activities by the UNESCO Water Family and the dissemination of WWAP's WWDR, as well as capacity building events and enhanced communications.
