Project ID 2210225062

The Activity aims at informing policymakers, research institutions, and direct investments in the water sector in the Caribbean SIDS. The Strategy lies on identifying key adaptation and mitigation measures to water vulnerability in selected countries in the Caribbean and addressing: (i) the impacts of climate change on the water ecosystem (ii) the lack of data availability on the water resources through better data gathering and monitoring platforms (iii) the need for water information sharing and diffusion of best practices. A particular effort will be made to work with selected Caribbean SIDS for the development of an updated map of transboundary aquifers and ground water systems, including their potential contributions to climate change adaptation.
