Project ID 2210262051
Africa has about 14 million students in higher education constituting 6.4% of global higher education enrollments. However, less than 1/3 are enrolled in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) fields. The situation is even worse for girls. The continuation of this trend poses serious challenges to our quest to meeting the growing demand for human resources with competences in the technologies underpinning the 4th industrial revolution. This activity will focus on advancing STEM education through strengthening institutional and human capacity, STEM strategy or policy support and mentorship.
