This workplan will implement strategic directions defined within the regional Core support strategy for SETI Priorities and Implementation Means (https://bit.ly/coreSETIstrategyAP) including "Promoting and encouraging [...]inclusiveness of science, tackling the regional digital divide for youth, girls and women". STEPAN as the umbrella support network to implement the regional strategy and strengthen institutional and human capacity in developing and implementing effective, inclusive science policies. The workplan will support the implementation of STEPAN action plan on SETI governance (https://bit.ly/STEPANActionPlan2021) specifically on supporting multi-spectrum STEM Capacity Building for enhanced science services to society.
