Central Asia and other countries are advocating for new STEM education and market responsive curriculum to accelerate development, yet they often lack capacities and up-to-date knowledge. This activity will contribute to the regional STEPAN network through promoting capacity in research, education and training, high skills development and innovation in STEM/SETI area. Integrating innovative and science-based approaches in the teaching of STEM will be emphasized, to help developing 21st century skills in students, that include creativity, innovation, problem solving. Moreover, youth will be targeted as agents for change and gender equality in STEM will be promoted.
