The objective is to foster research to deliver improved tools for management of nutrient loading to the marine environment. The activity will contribute to the development of the indicator for Sustainable Development Goal 14.1.1. on nutrient pollution, ICEP. The activity establishes a link between several IOC programs and projects as well as the activities of other organizations in particular UN Environment and the Global Partnership on Nutrient Management.
