This workstream builds on UNESCO's programming to strengthen policy and practice to improve the inclusion of persons with disabilities, including through the production of various briefs to explore disability-inclusive COVID-19 governance in 2021. Building on existing sub-regional work, this workplan will support Member States in improving (a) mechanisms, (b) mod-els and (c) capacities required for the routine generation, flow and use of domestically produced knowledge on persons with disabilities for use in social policies and programmes.
