UNESCO Jakarta office has a strong background of generating social science knowledge production and supporting Member States to strengthen evidence based policymaking. In line with the outputs under 41 C/5, framework of the renewed strategy on MOST Programme (2022-2029) and other strategic documents, UNESCO Jakarta will build on previous programmatic work to support cluster countries generate, manage and apply knowledge for inclusive and equitable development. Priority areas for knowledge production and brokerage will be 1. Persons with disabilities, social inclusion 2. Peace and governance, 3. Climate change and environmental change and 4. Digital transformation and societal disruption, AI ethics.
