In the vision of establishing and strengthening Ethical standards, norms and frameworks in the Arab region, this activity focuses on strengthening the Arab capacities to adopt ethics standards of AI and frontier technologies and to address inequalities and discrimination issues including the following: (i) Training and Dissemination of the MOOC of the Arab Charter of Ethics on Science in the Arab Region, (ii) Planning regional capacity development in adopting the Declaration on Ethics of AI emphasizing gender equality and networking issues, and (iii) Planning for regional advocacy and adopting the Declaration on Ethics in the time of Climate Change in joint collaboration with BEI.
