With the aim to support the Maghreb Members States adopting ethical standards, to enhance the benefits of scientific and technological advancements for humanity, while addressing the associated risks, including inequalities and discrimination. Therefore, in line with international ethical standards, recommendations and frameworks, the activity will capitalize on the acceleration of digital transformation in the Maghreb region since the COVID-19 crisis, to (1) raise awareness on Ethics of AI in application of the 2021 Recommendation on the Ethics of AI, with particular focus on gender equality, and (2) strengthen the capacities of national institutions in bioethics ; and finally (3) develop anti-doping education programs.
