In the framework of the 1972 Convention, the activities proposed aim at supporting the State Party in addressing priority World Heritage Committee recommendations for Jordan's World Heritage properties through the development of urgent conservation interventions at Umm Er Rasas, a Roman, then Byzantine site listed for its outstanding mosaic heritage. This activity will also focus on strengthening the national capacities in the technical application of the World Heritage Convention.
