With the aim to support the preservation of natural and cultural heritage in the Pacific, the suggested interventions include the implementation of selected recommended priority actions identified in the Regional Action Plan for World Heritage for the Pacific 2021-2025 (40 C/5 activity). The activities involve supporting a regional WH collaboration mechanism for the implementation of the Convention and the effective coordination with other relevant organizations; regional and national level capacity building; national efforts to review and update Tentative List of potential World Heritage Sites; and support links of heritage preservation to sustainable tourism.
