In the framework of the 50 Anniversary of the World Heritage Convention and the Third Cycle for the Periodic Reporting in the region, support will be provided to countries of the Montevideo Cluster for the protection, conservation and safeguarding of heritage, through the implementation of the World Heritage Convention related programmes and managing tools. Actions and activities related to capacity building, risk preparedness, management, protection and policy support will be carried out for main lines of actions related to priorities identified by the Member States and in line with climate change, gender, youth and risk preparedness. Actions will be pursued on a subregional level taking into account intersectoral synergies and a global and interconnected vision of culture.
