This activity aims to strengthen the capacity of West African countries to safeguard the intangible cultural heritage of the region, through the full implementation of the articles, provisions and the operational guidelines of the 2003 Convention for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage. It aims to build the capacity of the State Parties to the 2003 Convention to participate in the fourth regional periodic reporting for the African region.
