The Arab States will be the third region to report on the implementation of the 2003 Convention for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage at the national level using a new mechanism of reporting. Periodic Reporting is based on participatory processes that can strengthen relationships with and among the range of actors involved in the ICH field. Periodic Reporting also links to broader mechanisms for M&E goals in related areas such as cultural policies, media, or formal and non-formal education. Palestine will be supported throughout the multi-stakeholder consultative process that will be conducted at the local and national level to prepare its report on the implementation of the 2003 Convention, including in peer-to-peer and regional exchange and trainings.
