The UNESCO Beirut Office will support Lebanon in implementing the 2003 Convention through capacity building and technical assistance to strengthen its monitoring mechanisms for the implementation of the Convention. This will also assist authorities to elaborate, through a wide consultation and participatory process, their periodic report for the implementation of the Convention due in December 2022 .
