This strategy addresses the mandate and activities of the Cultural Policies and Development entity, whose priority actions will include notably the preparation and implementation of the UNESCO World Conference on Cultural Policies - Mondiacult 2022 and a strategic initiative on the linkages between culture and education. Regular funding budget will support primarily global and regional policy dialogue, policy support to Member States in the adaptation of cultural policies, as well as knowledge building and monitoring instruments on culture and development. The present workplan will also lay emphasis on mobilizing extrabudgetary funding to support the implementation OP 6, including through the promotion of transversal advocacy initiatives on culture and the 2030 Agenda.
