The program intends to carry out awareness-raising activities at various levels on access to information, freedom of the press and media, the safety of journalists in conflict zones and during events, as well as capacity-building for media professionals, defense and security forces, and judiciary, in order to ensure that trials on the rights of journalists and the media are better taken into account. Advocacy, awareness-raising and training activities for specific categories of stakeholders will be organized with the support of UNESCO experts and partner organizations.
