UNESCO will continue to strengthen the capacities, expand resources and enhance skills of different documentary heritage institutions. It will build on the work done in the previous biennium to promote preservation, protection and accessibility of documentary heritage. In particular, this activity will continue to support the institutions affected by the Beirut Port blast taking into consideration UNESCO's recommendations and the Arab action plan developed in 2018.
