Continuing its role as a regional facilitator of the 2015 Recommendation concerning the Preservation of, and Access to, Documentary Heritage including in Digital Form, UNESCO Bangkok proposes capacity building activities to support the digitization of documentary collections using open source technology to increase public access and knowledge in Southeast Asia. To that end, this project will engage custodians of documentary heritage in Asia and the Pacific in numerous activities including information exchange, sharing of good practices across regions, training and networking.
