This initiative will consist of raising awareness on the importance and MIL, and strengthening youth organizations capacity in Burkina Faso, Mali, Niger and Senegal, to impart key media and information literacy (MIL) skills necessary for young people to engage in constructive civic participation, to navigate a rapidly evolving media and information landscape, and to demonstrate resilience when confronted with hate speech, discrimination, disinformation, or violent extremism online and offline.
