Project ID 2210652031
Digital technologies have become an essential part of everyday life for all citizens, including those living in the rural areas. Unfortunately Africa has not yet fully reaped the benefits of digital technologies due to limited infrastructure, low media and information Literacy skills and digital skills competencies, including the knowledge on the impact of AI to freedom of expression, access to information and human rights in general. These challenges are further exacerbated by the proliferation of disinformation, hate speech and gender inequalities through digital communication. These activity will seek to address these challenges
