Project ID 2210662041

The pace and scale of technological change and digital transformation over the last decade has had contradictory impacts on society. While this transformation has created immense possibilities and opportunities in various aspects of life, it has, at the same time posed challenges in regard to human rights, ethics, accountability and inclusivity. This contradiction calls for a strategic approach to digital transformation that encapsulates the innovative and challenges aspects at the same time. This workplan will prioritize the mobilization of Member States by providing a platform for multistakeholder dialogue and capacity-building on policies for nurturing inclusive digital transformation and AI development in Eastern Africa.
