Project ID 221GLO2001

The GEF-UNDP-IMO GloFouling Partnerships Project is an intervention at the global, regional and national levels, with the aim to develop best practices and build capacity in developing countries for implementing the IMO and other relevant guidelines for biofouling management and to catalyse overall reductions in the transboundary introduction of biofouling-mediated invasive aquatic species. The project will be implemented through a Project Coordinating Unit (PCU) based at IMO. The Recipient Agency will take the lead in coordinating activities for the non-shipping aspects of the Project, including contributions from the private sector through the World Ocean Council
