The UN Secretary General's Transforming Education Summit and its Greening Education Partnership Initiative have gained significant momentum in Asia and the Pacific. Member States are requesting UNESCO's technical and guiding support towards greening education "getting every learner climate-ready". At global level, various partners have committed to support the Greening Education Partnership which is led by UNESCO. To build on fostered momentum and to translate global commitment into regional and national commitment and action in the Asia Pacific, UNESCO Bangkok is carrying out a set of activities to mobilize voluntary contributions from bi- and multi-lateral development partner.
