Testament to the strong results achieved by UNESCO and the MoEYS under GPE-3, the Local Education Group (LEG) in Cambodia comprising the MoEYS and development partners have selected UNESCO as Grant Agent for the $15.39 million System Transformation Grant (STG) under the new GPE 2025 Operating Model, of which UNESCO will manage the 'Fixed Part' and 'Top-up' tranches totalling $12.62 million and UNICEF will manage the $2.77 million 'Variable Part'. As Grant Agent, UNESCO will work closely with the leadership and technical departments of the MoEYS, the LEG and other Grant Agents to develop a high-quality programme document for the successful application of the STG Grant.
