The Project addresses Violence against Women and Children in the United Republic of Tanzania. Specifically, it will aim to intensify efforts to reduce the persecution, discrimination and stigma affecting the daily lives of people with albinism; reduce the prevalence of female genital mutilation; enhance the capacities of communities and schools in the reduction of sexual and gender based violence; and strengthen media reporting on the issues related to violence against women and children.
