The Project will aim to promote a conducive environment for freedom of expression and safety of journalists in Tanzania by reinforcing efforts through collaboration with the Government and key media and other stakeholders on the furtherance of selected and emerging Human Rights Issues in Tanzania, specifically related to freedom of expression, freedom of the press, media literacy, documentary heritage and issues related to strengthening the safety and protection of journalists and media workers, offline and online, in the United Republic of Tanzania, including interventions for youth and women''s empowerment
