UNESCO's work under the Joint HIV country plan focuses on Strategic Result Area 3 which is HIV prevention among young people and key populations. The activities conducted will target 75% of young people to have the skills, knowledge and capacity to protect themselves from HIV and have access to sexual and reproductive health services by 2021, in order to reduce the number of new HIV infections.
